According to a recent survey by Get Into Teaching (Jan 2019) 64% of people would pick a different career path if they could choose again, something where they can make more of a difference and experience a greater sense of purpose.
We asked our current trainees who have changed their career to re-train as a teacher what their “Why?” is and here are some of their answers:

Fear of the unknown or starting from the bottom again are often stumbling blocks that prevent people taking the first steps to a new career. But these blocks are not insurmountable and it is never too late to make a change!
