Meet the Team

Karl has been teaching PE for 29 years and is hugely passionate about all sports and promoting healthy, active lifestyles. A keen sportsman himself, Karl is currently recovering from a knee operation but hoping to get back and play rugby for Farnham rugby club, team squash, and any other sports he can do next year. Karl holds a BEd (Hons) in Physical Education from the College of St Paul & St Mary, Cheltenham. He taught at Park Barn School in Guildford (11-18 mixed comprehensive) for 2 1/2 years and was then appointed as Head of PE at Ash Manor School (11-16 mixed comprehensive) where he taught for twenty years. Karl joined Weydon in 2012 as Physical Education Curriculum Area Leader.
