Meet the Team

With over 20 years of teaching experience, I am a passionate science teacher who believes that education is a privilege and a powerful means of changing young people's lives. I’m really interested in the research in teaching strategies and am always thrilled to see how a subtle change in a teacher’s behaviour or actions can improve the outcomes of a lesson. 

My experience extends beyond the classroom. I've worked in the school's house system where I have worked with students outside the classroom to guide their personal development and to provide pastoral care. I have also worked as Head of Biology and as Triple Science coordinator, overseeing curriculum development and ensuring students' access to a quality first science teaching. 

I have extensive experience as a mentor. I've worked with teacher trainees, early career teachers as well as experienced teachers, guiding them to improve their practice. Witnessing the growth of these teachers is a source of immense satisfaction to me.

I look forward to working with the next generation of science teachers in this exciting and ever- evolving profession.
